When was the last time you had a kite?
Fredericks and Mae is a brand that makes kites, arrows, feathers, wings and masks. These stuff are simply fantastic and incredible! I want one of those kites and arrows, it is all hand made so each one of them is of course unique. They are based in NY, they are mentioned in NY Times and Vogue, so it is worth spending some time here.
Studio 54
Between 1977 and 1980, Studio 54 became the world’s most famous disco in the world. Everyone that “was” something and the ones that tried to “be” something from the music, art and fashionworld hang out there. I’m sure you all know how Bianca Jagger for her 30th birthday party, as the grand finale, came riding out on stage on a white horse. How Andy Warhol, Liza Minelli, Michael Jackson, Woody Allen, Truman Capote amongst a few, shaked their booty in there to the best disco music there was. Almost everything was allowed, the oweners pampered their celebrity friends with gifts as money, parties and sometimes drugs. It was a place where only the glamorous enough could get in, yet it was also a perfect mix of people. Sadly Studio 54 was raided and closed in the beginning of the 80′s cause of tax fraud. It went in the history as THE club you wish you could experience. Luckily we can go back in time with pictuers and music. So put on some disco music, do the “Hustle”, shake what you have and dance the night away in honour of the 70′s.

Nina Jarebrink
My second fashion show was Nina Jarebrink. Fantastic! Even tho it was raining , it was well prepared and together with the champagne, they handed out rain ponchos. Saved! After a small concert with Lise Karlsnes, the showed kicked off. A lot of marine, silk, white and beige. Slim silouettes, and short dresses, and the shoes were just a must have! On my wish list is her Ingrid jumpsuit and Lola shoes. I also like very much the way she spiced up the classical silk blouse by having it it two different colours. If you don’t know what designer I am talking about, be sure to take a look here . Merci for my invitation ♥
Oslo Fashion Week & Fam Irvoll
I have been on two great show the past days. First I went to Fam Irvoll ♥ She is just crazygood! Stars like Katy Perry and Lady GaGa have purchased her latest collection “After Rain”. Firts a mini concert, then a short-movie that created a great introduction to the show. The models had very ” Pop Art” make up and looked like cartoons carachters. Talkin bubbles worn as tiaras, with words like: “Blah Blah” and ” Oh darling thank you”, was the icing on the cake. Over sized bows, flowers, ruffles and colours like turqouise, yellow, pink and red made the collection. The grand finale was the oversized ballerina skirt that created almost standing ovations by the audince. Fam Irvoll is inspired by caroons and fairy tails amongst other things, and you can tell she has a great humor, and manage to involve that in her pieces. She is one of my favorite designers !!
